Nada Herman has developed a unique style of painting, characterised by very thick layers of brush strokes. In her oeuvre she depicts her close surroundings – the beach, marine life and bush. Other than those, she creates still-lifes full of vibrancy and boldness.
Nada Herman was born into an artistic family. Her grandfather, Sali Herman, was known for portraying Sydney’s terrace and slum houses. Her father was also an art tutor who inspired her to follow the family’s artistic endeavors. Winning her first art prize at 10 and later obtaining a Bachelor of Visual Arts, put her on a right path to becoming a successful painter. Nowadays her works can be seen in Australia, Italy and USA.
