We are thrilled to announce Peter Griffen's return to Audrey Fine Art in 2023. His abstract approach to Australian landscape sets him apart and for one week only, we invite you to come and enjoy his works. 

"With landscape in mind I went into chaos, spasmodically making marks, shapes and textures in various colours and tones.

In this exhibition the next step with most of the work, was to block out a lot of the random cacophony on the canvas to create order.

Analysis then took over while hopefully sourcing the subconscious in a different process where more decisive shapes, lines and marks were made in response to the more emotional beginnings.

Much time was spent adjusting the composition using impasto and glazing techniques."
