Robert Hagan.
Robert Hagan was born in 1947 in Murwillumbah, NSW. He is one of Australia’s best known and accomplished impressionist painters. His artistic presence is firmly established in the United Kingdom and America. With his relocation to San Diego in 1991 to paint America’s Cup Battle, he was also able to publish books with his Australian paintings.
This led to his incredibly successful career in the U.S.A, where Robert gave seminars on painting and judged art competitions in Los Angeles and appeared on TV talk shows. Apart from authoring several books Robert threw his hat into film making and successfully produced a TV Series for Discovery HD called ‘A Splash of Colour’.
His oeuvre features full of action outback horse scenes, but also delicate and romantic settings which proves that as an artist he can deliver both the drama and softness using oil on canvas.
