Nick Thomm is an Australian artist based in Los Angeles, known for his large-scale ‘spectral paintings’ and immersive light installations. His work explores modern colour systems and abstract image construction, merging traditional painting with technology into a hypnotic interplay of form and colour.

His paintings and installations have been shown in leading international galleries and museums, including the New Museum in New York, the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, and the Moco Museum in Barcelona. He maintains studios in both Los Angeles and Melbourne.

Thomm’s commissions span art, fashion and design — among them works for LVMH, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co., a three-storey video wall on London’s Oxford Street, the design of McLaren’s ‘Storm Artura’ supercar, and a mural for Miley Cyrus’s Los Angeles home.
