01 / Position

Art that knows where it belongs.

Audrey Fine Art has worked across Sydney residences, offices, and hospitality spaces. The styling service is an extension of the gallery floor: the same eye, the same artists, applied to your rooms rather than ours.

We make decisions slowly. We present work in context. We hang to gallery standards. And we stay involved, because a collection moves with the people who live with it.

How we work with art

Three principles that hold every project.

The styling service runs the same way whether the brief is a single statement piece for a private residence or a twelve-work program across a corporate floor.

01 / Read

We read the room before we propose the work.

Architecture, light, what is already there. We measure twice. We do not bring options before we have understood the space.

02 / Propose

Three options per wall, no more.

We do not carry a hundred works to a meeting. We bring the three we are prepared to defend, and we tell you why each one belongs.

03 / Install

We install to gallery standards.

Levelled, lit, accounted for. The trades work for us, not against the program. We hand over a finished room.

02 / Spaces

Rooms we work with.

Each space asks something different. We work across four contexts — the selection changes, the standard does not.

Residential art installation Install · Residential
01

Residential.

A home that holds its art. We work with single statement pieces and built collections, in new builds and lived-in homes.

  • Living rooms and bedrooms
  • New build styling
  • Private collections
  • Collection rotation
Corporate art installation Install · Corporate
02

Corporate.

Art that suits the office, not the brochure. Reception, boardrooms, executive floors, and the quiet spaces between.

  • Reception and lobby
  • Boardrooms
  • Executive suites
  • Workplace floors
Hospitality installation
03

Hospitality.

The first thing a guest sees, and the last. We source and place art that gives a property its register.

  • Hotels and resorts
  • Spas and wellness
  • Restaurants and bars
  • Event venues

Retail and commercial.

Showrooms, retail floors, medical practices, property development. Art that earns its wall.

In their words

From the projects.

Three concepts, hung on the day they said they would be. The room felt finished for the first time in two years.

Residential client · Rozelle

They understood the brief in the first meeting. Twelve works across two floors. Every one of them lands.

Corporate client · Sydney CBD

Six months later they came back to rotate the collection. That is the difference.

04 / On the floor

Currently selected.

A selection from the current floor. Six works from the wider collection — many more are held in reserve, waiting for the right wall.

The styling service draws from the full collection, including work held in reserve and pieces sourced directly from artist studios and auction houses.

06 / Process

From first meeting to installation.

Six stages, paced to the project. We work in person where we can, and remain involved after the work is on the wall.

01

Consultation.

We meet, on site or at the gallery. We listen to the brief, the constraints, and the people who will live with the work.

02

Assessment.

We read the architecture, the light, the existing pieces. We note sightlines, scale, and the rooms that carry the most weight.

03

Selection.

We propose work from our collection and our artists, matched to the brief. Three options per wall is our usual starting point.

04

Presentation.

We show the work in context, with provenance, artist notes, dimensions, and a clear price. You decide what stays.

05

Installation.

Delivery and hang, to gallery standards. Levelled, lit, and accounted for. We handle the trades.

06

After.

Rotation, new acquisitions, conservation advice. A collection is a long conversation, and we stay in it.

07 / Questions

Often asked.

If yours is not here, write to us. The advisors reply directly.

What does the first consultation involve?
A site visit or a meeting at the gallery, lasting about an hour. We look at the space, ask about the people in it, and leave with enough to build a first selection. There is no cost and no obligation.
How long does a styling project take?
Most residential projects move from first meeting to installation in three to six weeks. Larger commercial fit-outs run longer, paced to the build program. We work to the project's calendar.
Do you only work with art from your gallery?
No. We work with the gallery's roster first, then extend to our broader network, auction houses, and direct artist studios where the brief calls for it. The work has to be right for the room.
How is the service priced?
The first consultation is at no cost. From there, styling fees are scoped to the project, and quoted in writing. Artwork is priced separately. Installation is billed at cost plus 25%.
Can the work be rented rather than bought?
Yes. The Art Rental service runs alongside styling, with a minimum monthly spend from $500 and contract terms over 12 or 24 months. We use rental for staging, corporate floors, and clients building toward acquisition.
Can you work with an existing collection?
Often. We review what you own, what works, and what would benefit from rehanging, lighting, or replacement. We add only where addition is warranted.
