Margaret Sheridan is an acclaimed Australian sculptor specialising in stone, marble and wood.Her practice is one in conversation with each material she works with, allowing the essence and compositional qualities to lead a process of uncovering and transformation, giving form through pneumatic carving skills developed during a residency in Pietrasanta, Tuscany 1998.
